Ashcon block jointing mortar is a versatile high quality dry mix product. Specially designed to provide strength and adhesion to walls constructed with AAC blocks, fly ash bricks, concrete blocks etc. Ashcon block jointing mortar is a unique combination of cement, graded sand and blended polymers to impart high strength and water retention properties. Mixing Ashcon Block Jointing Mortar should be mixed with clear potable water. Take almost 10 to 12 liters of water for mixing one bag of 40kg. Add powder to water and mix until a uniform, lump free consistency is achieved use the mix within 90 minutes. Application The mix should be spread on the surface to a uniform thickness of 3mm to 4mm it is advised to moisten the block before laying. Packaging/Storage Ashcon block jointing mortar is available in HDPE packing of 40kg. The bag is water resistant but should be stored in dry conditions. Shelf life of the material is 6 months from date of manufacture if stored in dry and moisture free place.
